Very cool about the cabinets of curiosities. I've informally collected versions of these myself. I have an affinity for odd and rare objects, even if it's just a freaky rock or something, and keep them on shelves in my library. And I love King's taxonomy of horror. I'm definitely in the "terror" camp, but the show sounds interesting!

I want my own cabinet of curiosities now! I have a shelf filled with rocks and feathers I collect while hiking. I've gotten lucky enough to find some animal bones as well. But the idea of an entire room dedicated to all the weird little things would be amazing.
No, nothing especially exotic. Mostly just odd nicknacks, antiques, and weird things from nature I find on my walks. They're all over my bookshelves :-) It sounds like you've already started your cabinet of curiosities!
