That line really landed for me, really says so much about a hospital stay in just a few words. Really wonderful story thus far!
He turned his back to the cement building and limped to the main road, holding his arm up, a middle finger outstretched to the hospital behind him.
Not a very grateful guy, is he? They took care of him pro-bono and he flips them off.
Plus, they gave him drugs.
He is definitely not grateful. Entitled and angry would be the words.

I’m so glad you’re enjoying it! I hate the hospital. Grateful for it, happy not to be in it often.
